Greater Noida Tragedy: 22-Year-Old Woman Jumps to Death from 16th Floor of Migsun Twins Society

A tragic incident unfolded on Friday evening at Greater Noida’s Migsun Twins Society, where a 22-year-old woman, Shalu, ended her life by jumping from the 16th floor of the residential tower. Residents immediately informed the police and rushed her to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Lived with Four Friends

According to Surajpur Kotwali Police, Shalu, originally from Budhana area of Muzaffarnagar, lived in a flat at Migsun Twins Society along with her four friends. At the time of the incident, only Shalu and one of her friends were present in the apartment.

Friend Was in the Kitchen

Police said that the friend was busy working in the kitchen, while the other three roommates were outside. During this time, Shalu went to the balcony of the 16th floor and allegedly jumped off.

Residents who witnessed the fall rushed her to a nearby hospital, but she could not be saved.

No Suicide Note Found

Police have not recovered any suicide note, and the reason behind the extreme step remains unknown. Authorities have seized Shalu’s mobile phone and personal belongings for forensic examination. Her friends are also being questioned to understand the chain of events leading to the tragedy.

Parents Passed Away Earlier

ACP Rajeev Kumar Gupta stated that Shalu was employed at a private company in Noida. Her mother and father had already passed away, and the police have contacted her brother to inform him of the incident.

Police say the exact cause of the suicide will become clear only after the post-mortem report and detailed phone analysis.
