Farmers in Madhya Pradesh have received a major financial boost as the state government transferred ₹200 crore into the accounts of 1.17 lakh farmers under the fourth installment of the Soybean Price Support (Bhavantar) Scheme.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav digitally handed over the funds during the Annadata Samman (Farmer’s Honor) ceremony held in Malhargarh, Mandsaur district on Thursday. Speaking at the event, CM Yadav assured farmers that the government is leaving no stone unturned to ensure their prosperity.
Under this scheme, soybean farmers who sold their produce in the market between December 20, 2025, and the scheme’s conclusion received direct support. With this latest installment, a total of ₹1,492 crore has now been transferred to the accounts of 7.1 lakh soybean farmers across the state.
In addition to financial aid, CM Yadav also announced development projects worth ₹69.50 crore in Malhargarh. Key projects include:
- Groundbreaking of the 4-lane flyover on the Mandsaur-Neemuch State Highway (₹51.91 crore),
- Groundbreaking of the Piplia Mandi Sampar railway underbridge (₹5.53 crore), and
- Inauguration of the bridge construction work on Malhargarh Railway Station Road (₹2.06 crore).
The state government’s proactive approach in combining farmer welfare with infrastructure development is expected to provide long-term benefits to both agriculture and regional connectivity.
