
Nalkheda, Agar-Malwa: The revered Siddhpeeth of Goddess Baglamukhi at Nalkheda came alive with the colors of patriotism on Republic Day. The sanctum sanctorum was beautifully decorated with the tricolor and flowers representing the three hues of the national flag. The entire temple complex was adorned with tricolor flags, creating a festive and patriotic atmosphere. Even the havankund area featured an eye-catching arrangement of flags and balloons.
Goddess Baglamukhi Adorned as Bharat Mata
On this special occasion, Goddess Baglamukhi was lavishly adorned in the form of Bharat Mata. She wore a ceremonial saree featuring the three colors of the national flag—saffron, white, and green—symbolizing courage, peace, and prosperity. The entire temple premises were decorated with flowers and flags, illuminated with vibrant lights, creating a mesmerizing patriotic ambiance. The nearby Radha-Krishna and Hanuman temples also received special tricolor adornments, adding to the grandeur of the spiritual complex.
Thousands of Devotees Visit Daily
During Republic Day and the ongoing Gupt Navratri celebrations, the temple witnessed an overwhelming number of devotees. Around 50,000 visitors come to seek blessings daily. On Monday, too, a large crowd thronged the temple, participating in rituals and worship. Devotees performed havan ceremonies, offered prayers to the Yellow-Clad Goddess, and engaged in chanting and meditation. From early morning till evening, the temple was abuzz with spiritual fervor. Many devotees waited in long queues for hours to catch a glimpse of the goddess’s spectacular tricolor adornment.
Havan Rituals Continue Amid Devotional Fervor
The Gupt Navratri celebrations at the temple saw both devotees and priests performing rituals with devotion. Priests guided devotees through havan, pooja, and other ceremonial rites. Devotees offered sacred oblations while chanting mantras, creating an aura of spiritual energy throughout the temple. Several havankunds across the complex were used by common devotees and VIP visitors alike, continuing a tradition of sacred fire rituals known for invoking divine blessings.
