Ghaziabad Tragedy: Three Sisters Commit Suicide, Family Isolated at Home; Last Rites Conducted Late at Night

Ghaziabad: In a shocking incident in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, three sisters allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the ninth floor of a building. Following the tragedy, the family has isolated themselves at home and is not speaking to anyone, including the media.

Police investigations are ongoing. Journalists made repeated attempts to contact the father of the girls, who initially spoke to the media twice but has since refused further interaction. No other family member is willing to comment on the matter.

Post-Mortem and Last Rites
Doctors conducted post-mortems late Wednesday, confirming the cause of death as brain hemorrhage, believed to have resulted from severe trauma due to the fall. Following the procedures, the family performed the last rites of the three girls late at night. After the cremation, the family returned to their Delhi residence and later came back to Ghaziabad, confining themselves to their home. Attempts by the media to reach them on Thursday were unsuccessful, as the family did not open the gate.

YouTube Channel and Disputes
The three sisters had created a YouTube channel featuring content related to Korean culture, as well as videos about other countries. The channel had gained over 2,000 followers. Sources indicate that the father deleted the channel after learning about it. Reports suggest that the girls were frustrated with restrictions on posting content and promoting Korean culture digitally.

The father has demanded a ban on Korean dramas, videos, music, and games, claiming that such influences drive children away from their families.

Police Investigation
The girls reportedly used two mobile phones, one of which was sold by the father months ago. Police have recovered both devices for a detailed investigation into the task-based game they were reportedly playing. A suicide note has also been sent to a forensic lab for handwriting analysis.

Korean Influence on Lifestyle
The investigation revealed that the sisters had adopted Korean-style names for family members and decorated their room in Korean style. They reportedly intended to marry according to Korean traditions. Neighbors stated that the sisters even introduced themselves as Korean when first meeting them, wearing Korean-style clothing.

This tragic incident has sent shockwaves across the country, raising concerns about the influence of digital content on children and family relationships.
