Ghaziabad: Six-Year-Old Child Seen Dangling from Sixth-Floor Balcony Railing, Video Sparks Panic

A disturbing video from a high-rise society in Ghaziabad has sent shockwaves across social media, raising serious concerns about child safety in residential apartments. The incident reportedly took place in the Angel Jupiter Society located in the Ahinsa Khand area of Indirapuram.

The viral video, around 17 seconds long, shows a young child—believed to be about six years old—sitting and playing on the metal railing of a sixth-floor balcony, with his legs dangling outside. The sight left residents and viewers deeply shaken, as a single misstep could have resulted in a fatal fall.

According to information, the video is about a week old. Witnesses said the child climbed onto an object kept in the balcony and from there managed to sit atop the railing. Fortunately, a plastic net installed to prevent pigeons from entering the balcony played a crucial role in averting a tragedy. The child was seen holding onto the net, which prevented him from falling.

Residents who noticed the alarming situation were terrified. In the video, the person recording can be heard repeatedly calling out to the child, but the child appears unaware of the danger and continues playing casually.

The society residents immediately informed the child’s parents, who rushed to the spot and safely brought the child back inside. Only then did the onlookers breathe a sigh of relief.

It has been reported that the child is suffering from autism, which may have affected his ability to understand the potential danger of the situation. The child is currently safe and in good health.

The incident has once again highlighted the urgent need for strict safety measures and constant supervision of children, especially in high-rise buildings. On social media, many users have expressed concern and urged parents and housing societies to ensure stronger safety arrangements to prevent such life-threatening incidents in the future.
