Ghaziabad Shock: Married Woman and Her Friend Found Bleeding Inside Locked Bathroom After Devar Walks In

Ghaziabad: A shocking incident from Bamheta in Wave City police station area has stirred the entire locality. A married woman and her male friend were found lying in a pool of blood inside a locked bathroom, both with deep cuts on their throats inflicted with a blade. Police broke open the door and rushed the duo to the District Combined Hospital, where their condition remains critical.

According to ACP Wave City Priya Shripal, the woman, originally from Bulandshahr, lives in the rented house with her husband and children. On Tuesday, after the husband left for work and the children went to school, a young man living on the upper floor came downstairs to meet her.

Devar Reached Unexpectedly, Saw Them Together

While the two were inside the house, the woman’s brother-in-law (devar) unexpectedly arrived. He was shocked to find them together in a compromising position. Fearing exposure and social disgrace, both the woman and her friend reportedly locked themselves inside the bathroom.

Uproar in the Neighbourhood

The devar raised an alarm, drawing neighbours to the spot. A tense atmosphere prevailed outside the house. Soon after, the woman’s husband also reached home and informed the police.

When the police team forced open the bathroom door, they were stunned to find both individuals lying unconscious on the floor, drenched in blood.

Fear of Social Shame Led to Suicide Attempt

ACP Shripal confirmed that both had multiple deep blade injuries on their necks. A significant amount of blood loss has left them in a critical state. They are currently unfit to give any statement.

Initial investigation suggests that the duo attempted suicide out of fear of public humiliation after being discovered together.

So far, the police have not received any written complaint from either family. The matter is under investigation, and further action will be taken based on medical reports and statements.
