Ghaziabad: Police Raid Two Flats, Bust Online Obscenity Ring

Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh: Ghaziabad police conducted a raid at flats 601 and 612 in Xavier Street Market following reports of illegal activities. The operation led to the arrest of one man and seven women involved in obscene video call operations. Authorities also seized laptops, desktops, and other incriminating electronic equipment.

Raid and Arrests
According to ACP Wave City Priyashree Pal, police received information about illegal activities in a residential area of Xavier Street Market. During the raid at flat 612, several women and young girls were found engaging in nude video calls with customers via a website. These acts were live-streamed for clients who paid for the services. The man running the operation was also arrested along with all participants present.

Seizure of Equipment
Police then searched flat 601, discovering similar activities. A significant amount of electronic equipment and objectionable material was recovered from both locations.

Use of Fake IDs
Investigations revealed that the accused used fake IDs to conceal their identities. They created multiple accounts under different names to contact customers and provide services via video calls. The gang’s primary objective was to earn money online through these obscene video calls.
