In a disturbing case from Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, a dog trainer has been arrested for allegedly raping a young Kashmiri woman and blackmailing her with explicit videos for several months. The accused, identified as Mukul Kumar, reportedly gained the family’s trust by offering pet dog training services before committing the crime.
According to the victim’s mother, the family, originally from Kashmir, has been living in Kaushambi with her two daughters and father-in-law following her husband’s death. In November 2025, Mukul Kumar, a resident of Gaur City, Greater Noida, was hired to train their pet dog. He visited the house three times a week in the evenings.
The mother alleged that in February 2025, Mukul sexually assaulted her elder daughter while she was alone at home. During the assault, he reportedly recorded obscene photos and videos and threatened to circulate them, instilling fear and forcing the victim to endure sexual exploitation for months.
Even after the family moved to a new flat in December 2025, Mukul allegedly continued to harass the girl, pressuring her to meet him in a hotel. When she refused, he reportedly assaulted her physically, causing injuries. Despite the victim blocking his number, Mukul allegedly used multiple phone numbers to continue threatening her, including threats of suicide and implicating the victim and her mother if they approached the police.
Mukul Kumar, originally from Mangalpur, Kanpur Dehat, was finally arrested on January 26, 2026, following a formal complaint lodged by the victim’s mother. During interrogation, he reportedly admitted to the rape and blackmail charges, and the police investigation is ongoing.
