
Thane, Maharashtra – 18 November 2025: In a chilling incident in Ambernath, Thane district, a gang of eight men armed with swords and sharp weapons brutally attacked a man, leaving him severely injured. Police suspect the attack may be linked to a long-standing personal feud, and the entire episode was caught on CCTV cameras installed inside the shop. Investigations are ongoing.
Assault Inside the Shop
The victim, Sudhir Omprakash Singh, had visited an automobile repair shop to fix a broken car part when the gang struck. CCTV footage shows Sudhir attempting to defend himself with a piece of metal, but five gang members armed with deadly weapons relentlessly attacked him, entering the shop one by one.
Attack Continues Outside on Scooter
The assault inside the shop lasted nearly 90 seconds. After being forced outside by one of the attackers, Sudhir was further assaulted on his scooter before the gang fled on motorbikes. Sudhir sustained serious injuries to his back, arms, and legs and was immediately admitted to Central Hospital, Ulhasnagar.
Police Investigation Underway
Thane police have registered a case and are tracing the gang members using CCTV footage and witness accounts. Authorities are investigating the motive and working to ensure justice for the victim.
