Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan: Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Robert Vadra, along with their family, arrived in Sawai Madhopur for New Year celebrations and a private family holiday. The Gandhi-Vadra convoy traveled from Delhi by road under tight security and is staying at the five-star Hotel Sherbagh in Ranthambore for a four-day visit.
Family to Stay Until January 2
According to sources, the family will remain in Ranthambore until January 2. During this time, they plan to visit Ranthambore National Park. As in previous years, the family will celebrate the New Year amidst the natural beauty of the park. Sonia Gandhi, however, is not part of this trip.
Focus on Rehan Vadra’s Engagement
The trip has generated widespread attention due to Rehan Vadra’s recent engagement. Rehan is engaged to Aviva Beg, a Delhi resident, in a private ceremony with the consent of both families. Professionally, Rehan Vadra is a photographer and visual artist, while Aviva Beg is also involved in the field of photography.
Joint National Park Visit Planned
Sources indicate that close family friends and Aviva Beg’s family are accompanying the Gandhi-Vadra family. Together, the three families plan to tour Ranthambore National Park, including jungle safaris and observing tiger activity.
Longstanding Connection with Ranthambore
The Gandhi-Vadra family has a deep connection with Ranthambore. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra frequently visits the park, and both Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi have made multiple visits in the past. The family typically visits the park two to three times a year for leisure and wildlife excursions.
Possible Private Family Ceremonies at Hotel Sherbagh
Sources suggest that some private family rituals related to Rehan Vadra and Aviva Beg’s engagement may take place at Hotel Sherbagh. No official confirmation has been provided. Meanwhile, the Gandhi-Vadra family is seen enjoying the serene environment of Ranthambore while welcoming the New Year.
