‘Fracture Gang’ Operatives Caught: Revelers in Gurgaon Pubs Inspired by Sanju Baba Movie

Hapur police have arrested several members of the notorious ‘Fracture Gang,’ who had established a criminal network across Hapur, Meerut, and Ghaziabad.

Gang Inspired by Bollywood Film
The arrested individuals—Puneet alias Pintu, Hariom, and Yash Vaishla—were not just ordinary criminals but organized offenders expanding their network strategically. Investigations revealed that the gang was heavily influenced by the iconic “Fracture Gang” portrayed in Sanjay Dutt’s film Vastav, adopting the same name and modus operandi for their criminal activities.

During the investigation, police recovered a video showing these gang members indulging in revelry on New Year’s Eve at a high-end pub in Gurgaon. The pub’s large screen flashed the gang’s name along with the names of its members. Authorities stated that the group deliberately displayed weapons and conducted staged acts of intimidation, recording these incidents to spread fear and establish dominance on social media. Their goal was to cultivate a fearsome image among youth and entice recruits into their gang.

Extensive Network Across Districts
Pintu and his associates had spread their operations across Meerut, Ghaziabad, and Hapur. Numerous cases against them confirm their methodical planning to create an atmosphere of terror. They would commit acts of violence in one district and relocate to another before police could respond.

Police Investigating Support Network
The Hapur incidents, including the Mubarikpur case, were not mere personal vendettas but deliberate attempts to cement the gang’s dominance. The police are now working to identify the facilitators who have been providing weapons and financial support behind the scenes, enabling the gang to function as an organized syndicate.
