Four Youths Die in Head-On Collision in Jhalawar; Were Traveling to Madhya Pradesh

Jhalawar, February 21, 2026: Four young men tragically lost their lives in a road accident in Jhalawar district, Rajasthan, on Friday evening. The accident occurred when a Bolero vehicle collided head-on with a motorbike carrying all four victims. The youths were traveling from Rajasthan to Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, at the time of the crash.

The incident took place near Karanpura village on the Dag-Choumhala road around 7:30 PM in the Gangdhar police station area. Local villagers reported that the impact was severe, leaving both vehicles heavily damaged. Emergency services were informed immediately, and the victims’ bodies were sent to Choumhala Hospital for post-mortem.

Identification of Victims

During the investigation, three of the four victims were identified through documents found in their bags. They are:

  • Rajpal, son of Parbat Singh, resident of Jhangaria village, Sitamau Police Station, Mandsaur, MP
  • Jawaharlal, son of Ramchandra, resident of Jhangaria village, Sitamau Police Station, Mandsaur, MP
  • Naresh, son of Kalulal, resident of Udaipur village, Mandsaur, MP

The fourth victim remains unidentified as no documents were found.

Police Investigation Underway

Police have informed the families of the deceased and are completing formal identification procedures at Choumhala Hospital. DSP Hemant Gautam stated that initial investigations suggest high speed and the head-on collision as the primary cause, although the exact reason will be confirmed once the full investigation concludes. Authorities are continuing their inquiries and will take further action accordingly.
