
Ranchi: Over the past 24 hours, Jharkhand experienced dry weather across the state, with no rainfall reported in any region. Maximum and minimum temperatures remained largely unchanged during this period.
Gumla Records Coldest Night, Chaibasa Warmest Day
Chaibasa recorded the highest temperature at 29.8°C, which is 3.7°C above normal, while Gumla experienced the coldest minimum temperature at 8.3°C. Most parts of the state saw only minor fluctuations in maximum temperatures, ranging between -2°C and +2°C from normal levels. Bokaro reported a slight dip in minimum temperature, 2.7°C below normal. No rainfall was recorded anywhere in the state over the last 24 hours.
Weather Outlook: Foggy Mornings, Clear Afternoons
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Jharkhand’s weather is expected to change over the coming days (November 30 to December 6, 2025). From November 30 to December 2, most parts of the state may witness fog or mist during early mornings, followed by partly cloudy skies during the day. From December 3 to 6, morning fog and mist are likely to persist, but skies are expected to remain mostly clear later in the day.
Temperature Trends
The minimum temperature is expected to rise slightly by 2–3°C over the next 24 hours. However, in the following four days, a drop of 3–4°C in minimum temperatures is anticipated, leading to an increase in cold conditions across the state.
Ranchi Forecast
In Ranchi and surrounding areas, morning fog and mist will continue for the next few days, followed by partly cloudy conditions. By December 3, skies are expected to clear up, bringing sunshine during the day. No major weather warnings have been issued for any district in the state this week.
