
Ashoknagar, February 10, 2026: The Madhya Pradesh Board examinations for Class 10 and 12 commenced today under tight security measures to prevent cheating. Ashoknagar District Administration has implemented stringent protocols, including Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code, at 34 exam centers across the district. Under this provision, entry of unauthorized individuals and weapons is prohibited within a 100-meter radius of the exam venues.
High-Security Measures in Place
Out of the 34 centers, 18 have been designated as highly sensitive and sensitive, equipped with CCTV surveillance and mobile jammers to disrupt cellular signals. All electronic devices, including mobile phones and Bluetooth gadgets, are strictly banned within the 100-meter perimeter of the centers. A total of 18,365 students are appearing for the exams, with 10,705 candidates in Class 10—including 9,452 regular and 1,253 private students—and 7,660 candidates in Class 12, including 6,837 regular and 823 private students.
Collector Inspects Exam Centers
Collector Saket Malviya personally visited the centers as the exams began to review arrangements. The preventive orders under Section 163 prohibit anyone except examinees and authorized staff from entering the 100-meter perimeter. Carrying any arms or sharp weapons, or engaging in public demonstrations near the centers, is strictly forbidden.
With CCTV monitoring, mobile signal jammers, and strict perimeter controls, authorities aim to ensure that the first day of MP Board Exams 2026 proceeds smoothly and without incidents.
