
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday made a series of landmark announcements in the State Assembly, unveiling an ambitious roadmap focused on farmers’ welfare, healthcare expansion, infrastructure development, and regional conservation efforts. The announcements were made during a special one-day session of the Assembly आयोजित to mark the 70th anniversary of the first session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
The historic session, which ran for nearly 12 hours—from 11:00 am to 11:20 pm, witnessed several key policy declarations aimed at transforming the socio-economic landscape of the state.
Five Major Announcements by the Chief Minister
1. Fertilizer Home Delivery for Farmers
In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the state government plans to introduce home delivery of fertilizers for farmers. To ensure accurate supply and prevent shortages or misuse, the government will conduct a satellite-based survey to assess the real demand for fertilizers. Based on this data, fertilizers will be delivered directly to farmers’ homes.
2. Medical College in Every District
CM Yadav announced that medical colleges will be established in all 55 districts of Madhya Pradesh, significantly strengthening the state’s healthcare infrastructure and improving access to medical education and treatment in rural and semi-urban areas.
3. Zoo and Animal Rescue Centre at Division Level
Each administrative division of the state will have a zoo and an animal rescue centre, aimed at wildlife conservation, animal welfare, and promoting environmental awareness.
4. Inter-State Cheetah Corridor
Madhya Pradesh, in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, will develop a Cheetah Corridor to support wildlife conservation and ensure safe movement of cheetahs across state boundaries.
5. Helipad in Every Assembly Constituency
The government is working on a plan to construct at least one helipad in every Assembly constituency, enhancing emergency response capabilities and improving administrative connectivity.
Big Push to State Economy
Chief Minister Yadav also announced a significant expansion of the state’s financial capacity. He stated that Madhya Pradesh’s annual budget, currently at ₹4.21 lakh crore, is projected to rise to over ₹7.28 lakh crore by 2028, reflecting the government’s focus on rapid development and investment growth.
Naxalism Eliminated from MP
Addressing internal security, the Chief Minister declared that Madhya Pradesh has become completely Naxalism-free as of December 11, calling it a major achievement for the state’s law enforcement agencies and administration.
Special Session Highlights
The special Assembly session remained lively throughout the day, with senior minister Kailash Vijayvargiya actively participating and energizing the proceedings. The session concluded with a strong message of governance reform, development, and future-ready planning.
With these announcements, the Mohan Yadav government has signaled a bold and transformative vision for Madhya Pradesh, placing farmers, healthcare, infrastructure, and security at the center of its development agenda.
