Faridabad: A wave of fear has gripped Al-Falah University following the Delhi blast investigation, prompting a large number of students to vacate the hostels and return home. Despite repeated assurances from the university administration about campus safety, panic among families has escalated sharply since the arrest of suspects from Faridabad.
25% Hostel Rooms Emptied Within Hours
From Thursday evening onwards, students began quietly leaving their rooms. By Friday, nearly 25% of the hostel capacity had been vacated, with many students seen departing with their families. Parents arrived at the university in private vehicles, insisting on taking their children home immediately.
Students revealed that continuous media reports linking Faridabad to the Delhi blast investigation have left their families deeply anxious.
Parents Fear Police Questioning, Possible Detention
Many students disclosed that their parents fear that police questioning may drag innocent students into custody during the investigation. Concerned families have been calling repeatedly, urging their children to leave the campus without delay.
This fear has led to a tense atmosphere within the university, despite official statements claiming full security.
The administration has urged students to remain calm, stating that the campus is completely safe. However, widespread anxiety has forced many to pack up and leave.
Heavy Police Presence Returns to Campus
In a fresh development, a large police contingent reached Al-Falah University once again, sealing the surrounding villages and launching an extensive search operation inside the campus.
Sources indicate that a deep search was carried out across all hostel blocks, classrooms, and open areas, with the involvement of NSG commandos given the sensitivity of the situation.
Security agencies are leaving no room for risk, tightening surveillance and enhancing security measures throughout the entire region.
