Father Beats 4-Year-Old Daughter to Death Over Counting Mistake; Tries to Stage Accident, Son Reveals Truth

Faridabad: In a shocking incident in Faridabad, a four-and-a-half-year-old girl was allegedly beaten to death by her father because she failed to write numbers from 1 to 50 correctly. Krishna Jaiswal (31) was arrested on Friday after his wife lodged a complaint with the police.

The incident took place in Jharasantali village under Sector-58 police jurisdiction, where the family was living on rent. The tragedy came to light when the parents took the unconscious child to BK Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Father Attempts to Conceal Crime
In an attempt to cover up the incident, Krishna allegedly told his wife over the phone that their daughter had fallen down the stairs and lost consciousness. However, upon reaching the hospital, the mother noticed visible injuries on the child’s body, raising suspicion. She immediately informed the police, leading to a murder case being registered against Krishna.

Father Responsible for Childcare During the Day
Krishna Jaiswal, originally from Khertiyaa village in Sonbhadra district, Uttar Pradesh, lived in Jharasantali village with his wife and three children — two daughters and a son. Both parents worked in private companies. While his wife went to work during the day, Krishna, who had night duties, took care of the children and also taught them at home.

Beaten with a Rolling Pin
According to the police, the girl, named Vanshika, was being taught to write numbers up to 50. When she made mistakes, Krishna allegedly became angry and started beating her with a rolling pin, causing her to lose consciousness.

Son Reveals the Truth
Krishna informed his wife Ranjita that the child had fallen while playing. Ranjita rushed from work to the hospital, but it was the couple’s seven-year-old son who later disclosed that his sister had been beaten. Observing the injuries on Vanshika’s body, the mother alerted the authorities. Police confirmed that the child had sustained severe head injuries and was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.

A case under Section 103(1) of the BNS has been registered at Sector-58 Police Station, Faridabad, against Krishna Jaiswal. He has been taken into one-day remand for interrogation to investigate the sequence of events and verify statements from family members and neighbors.
