Farmer Suffers Health Attack While Waiting in Fertilizer Line; Police Constable Saves Life with CPR

Guna: In a remarkable act of bravery, a police constable saved the life of a farmer who suffered a sudden health attack while waiting in line to collect fertilizer at Nanakhedi Mandi in Guna district. The incident, which has gone viral on social media, highlights both the risks faced by farmers and the vigilance of local law enforcement.

Farmer Collapses on Ground

The incident occurred at the double-lock fertilizer distribution center in Nanakhedi. The farmer, standing in line for his turn, suddenly collapsed due to a health attack. Police constable Abhishek Raghuvanshi, on duty at the center, noticed the farmer in distress and immediately administered CPR on the spot. Thanks to his quick response, the farmer regained consciousness and was rushed to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Life-Saving Action Appreciated

The entire episode was captured on video and has been widely shared on social media, earning praise for Constable Raghuvanshi’s prompt and courageous action. Authorities confirmed that the farmer is now stable and recovering well.

Fertilizer Shortages Add to Farmer Hardships

Despite being under the jurisdiction of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Guna continues to face fertilizer shortages, forcing farmers to stand in long queues at the distribution centers. Recent incidents, including the tragic death of a woman in line, have highlighted the urgent need for better arrangements. The administration has set up 33 distribution centers, yet long queues remain a challenge for local farmers.
