BSTDC has set up a dedicated Tourist Village in Saran district, featuring beautifully designed ‘Mini Darbari’ and ‘Rajwadi’ Swiss-style luxury tents. These air-conditioned cottages come with attached bathrooms, 24×7 electricity and water supply, delicious meals, and full security arrangements.
Two accommodation categories have been introduced, priced between ₹3,000 and ₹5,000 per night, making it a perfect option for both domestic and international visitors seeking comfort within budget.

Known as the biggest cattle fair in Asia, the historic Harihar Kshetra Sonepur Mela continues to be a major attraction for tourists and devotees. With thousands visiting daily, the state tourism department has strengthened facilities, safety measures, and crowd management.
Luxury Vehicles From Patna to Sonepur
To make travel seamless, BSTDC is operating special luxury vehicles from Patna to Sonepur. Fixed pick-up points have been designated, and fares vary according to the vehicle type.
A special couples’ package is also available at ₹6,000 per couple, including stay, transport, meals, and a personal guide.
