Malviya faces multiple allegations, including harassment of women, unauthorized recording of private conversations, and demanding commissions from contractors.
Allegations of Misconduct and Privacy Violations
Police sources stated that complaints were lodged against Malviya for inappropriate behavior toward women and recording their private conversations without consent. BJP Expels Malviya for Six Years
As allegations surfaced, the BJP faced mounting political pressure. To safeguard its image, the party expelled Vinod Malviya for six years, citing his conduct as against party discipline and organizational decorum.
Medical Examination and Court Appearance
Chandameta Police Inspector Khelchand Patle confirmed that Malviya underwent a medical examination following his arrest and will be presented before the court on Wednesday. Authorities may seek police remand for further investigation into digital devices and other evidence.
