Bulandshahr, UP: In a rare and inspiring sight at Bulandshahr Police Lines, DIG Kalanidhi Naithani surprised everyone by suddenly breaking into a run during a morning parade inspection, leaving officers and subordinates both astonished and motivated.
A Unique Approach to Police Fitness
According to sources, the unusual event occurred on Thursday morning during the DIG’s routine inspection of the police lines. After taking the salute and completing formal proceedings, Naithani unexpectedly sprinted across the parade ground. Initially stunned, senior officers including the SSP and SP soon joined him in the run, turning it into a spontaneous team exercise.
The DIG explained that the aim was to assess and enhance the physical fitness and alertness of the police force, emphasizing that traditional inspections alone are no longer sufficient in today’s evolving security landscape. “In the current times, security challenges are rising continuously. A fit and agile police force is the most effective police,” Naithani stated.
Boosting Morale
The unexpected drill had an immediate effect on the morale of the officers. Subordinates expressed pride and motivation, describing the experience as both exhilarating and inspiring. Witnesses said seeing the DIG leading by example, sweating alongside his team, created a memorable and historic moment in the history of the Bulandshahr Police Lines.
This initiative has sparked discussions across the district, with many calling it a new standard of leadership, while police personnel view it as a source of inspiration for dedication, discipline, and fitness.
