Jaipur, Rajasthan: Following recent rainfall, Rajasthan has experienced relief from the cold, but several districts are likely to see dense fog over the weekend. Jaipur and other parts of the state have witnessed fluctuating temperatures, with minimum temperatures in many cities recorded above the seasonal average.
Despite rainfall, the anticipated drop of 3–4°C did not occur, as cold winds from snow-bound regions weakened. While some cities saw a slight decrease in temperature, others experienced a rise. The absence of severe cold waves has provided residents temporary respite from the chill.
Fog Alert: The Jaipur Meteorological Centre has issued a forecast of dense fog over the next two days (Saturday and Sunday) in cities including Ajmer, Byawar, Bundi, Dausa, Rajsamand, and Tonk. The fog is expected to cause localized temperature drops. Except for Kota and Jaisalmer, most cities are reporting temperatures above normal, giving temporary relief from cold conditions.
