IMD Issues Yellow Alert
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) noted that low wind speeds in the early morning allowed pollutants to accumulate, while brief winds from the southwest reached only 10 km/h during the day. IMD has issued a yellow alert warning of moderate to dense fog in the morning hours. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 6–8°C on Saturday and 5–7°C on Sunday, during which pollution levels may remain high.
