New Delhi: The Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra led by Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the Peethadheeshwar of Bageshwar Dham, continued for the second consecutive day in Delhi on Saturday. The spiritual leader, addressing an ocean of devotees, declared that the march represents Hindu unity and asserted that “India will definitely become a Hindu Rashtra.”
The padyatra began on Friday from Adya Katyayani Shaktipeeth Temple in Chhatarpur, South Delhi, and will culminate on November 16 at the Shri Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan.
“We Will Not Stop Until India Becomes a Hindu Nation”
During his address on the second day of the march, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said,
“This Sanatan Padyatra has started with seven sacred vows. It is a journey for Hindu unity. The people of India are awakening, coming together on the streets in support of Sanatan Dharma. Without doubt, India will emerge as a Hindu nation. We will keep walking until that happens.”
He further emphasized that the padyatra is not political but spiritual — aimed at awakening national and cultural consciousness rooted in Sanatan values.
Massive Participation and Tight Security
The padyatra, which will pass through several regions before reaching Vrindavan, is witnessing massive participation with thousands of followers chanting devotional slogans and carrying saffron flags.
Today, the march will move through Faridabad, adjoining Delhi, where a large number of devotees are expected to join. Keeping the scale of the event in mind, the district administration, municipal authorities, police, traffic police, fire, and health departments have all been placed on high alert.
The route has been adorned with lights, saffron flags, and grand welcome gates, while residents have been advised to plan their travel accordingly on November 8 and 9, as heavy traffic congestion is expected along the padyatra routes.
With this large-scale spiritual movement, Delhi–NCR has turned into a vibrant display of faith, devotion, and unity, as Acharya Dhirendra Shastri’s message of “One Sanatan, One Nation” echoes across the streets.
