
Faridabad/New Delhi: In the wake of the Red Fort blast in Delhi, Faridabad’s Al-Falah University has come under intense investigation. A massive search operation involving over 800 police personnel was launched in the Dhouj area, as authorities examine whether the university’s laboratories were used for manufacturing RDX or other advanced explosives. Just a day prior, nearly 2,900 kilograms of explosive and flammable materials were seized from the vicinity. The investigation has now been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) following a high-level meeting chaired by Home Minister Amit Shah.
Detonators Recovered from Medical Professor’s Residence
According to The Times of India, the operation was triggered after the arrest of Dr. Muzamil Shakeel, a Kashmiri medical professor teaching at Al-Falah University. Police recovered explosives, detonators, batteries, timers, and weapons, including an AK-56 rifle and a Krinkov, from Dr. Shakeel’s rented residence near the university campus.
360 kg of Ammonium Nitrate Seized
During the probe of the JeM (Jaish-e-Mohammed) Faridabad module, authorities seized 360 kilograms of ammonium nitrate, an assault rifle, and additional ammunition from Dr. Shakeel’s residence. Dr. Shakeel has been arrested, and investigators are now examining the university laboratories and questioning staff members.
Network Spanning Kashmir, Haryana, and UP
Officials stated that eight individuals—including Dr. Shakeel, two other doctors, and Kashmiri nationals—have been arrested for their alleged links to a white-collar terror module connected to JeM and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGUH), operating across Kashmir, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
White-Collar Terror System Exposed
The Times of India reported that a First Information Report (FIR) was registered at Nogam Police Station under UAPA, Explosives Act, and Arms Act. Investigations revealed a network of radical professionals and students maintaining contact with handlers in Pakistan and other countries, forming a sophisticated white-collar terror system.
