Delhi Crime News: Even Judges Not Safe! Session Judge Becomes Victim of Road Rage, Accused Arrested Within 24 Hours

New Delhi: In a shocking incident that raises serious questions about safety in the national capital, a sitting judge of Karkardooma Court became the victim of road rage in Shahdara’s Krishna Nagar area. A bike rider allegedly abused and pushed the judge in the middle of the road while he was on his way to court.

The judge immediately informed the police, after which the accused fled the spot. Based on the judge’s complaint, a case was registered at Krishna Nagar police station. Working swiftly, the Delhi Police tracked and arrested the accused within 24 hours. He has been identified as Krishna Tomar, a resident of New Usmanpur in Delhi and originally belonging to Uttar Pradesh.

The Incident

According to police sources, the session judge left his residence on Wednesday morning and was driving to court. Around 10 AM, a slow-moving bike ahead of his car was obstructing traffic. When the judge honked multiple times, the biker reportedly stopped his vehicle abruptly in front of the car.

The accused then approached the judge aggressively. When the judge stepped out of his car, the biker allegedly misbehaved with him and even pushed him during the confrontation. On sensing the situation escalating, the judge called the police, prompting the biker to speed away.

Accused Tracked Down Through CCTV Footage

Taking the matter seriously, the police launched an immediate search. CCTV cameras installed in the area helped identify the motorcycle’s registration number. This led police teams to the accused’s New Usmanpur residence, where he was found missing.

The police then traced his location through his mobile phone and apprehended him early Thursday morning. The accused, Krishna Tomar, is originally from Uttar Pradesh.

The incident has sparked discussion about rising road rage in the city and raised concerns about the safety of even high-ranking judicial officers on public roads.
