Delhi Crime Miscreants Snatch Police Constable’s Pistol, Threaten Him with Death

In a shocking incident highlighting the audacity of criminals in Delhi, two miscreants reportedly snatched the service pistol of a Delhi Police Head Constable in Safdarjung Enclave. The incident has triggered a police investigation, with authorities analyzing CCTV footage to identify the culprits.

According to police sources, Head Constable Rajkumar, posted at Safdarjung Enclave police station, was on patrol on January 22 around 2 PM when locals alerted him about two people allegedly consuming drugs in nearby bushes. Upon confronting the suspects, an altercation ensued. The attackers forcibly grabbed his service pistol, fired at him—fortunately missing—and then fled toward the IIT area after threatening him with death.

One suspect reportedly ran into the nearby forest, while the other stopped a passing biker by brandishing the stolen pistol and proceeded toward Hauz Khas. The criminals warned Constable Rajkumar not to pursue them, threatening to kill him if he did.

The Safdarjung Enclave police have registered a case, and a manhunt is underway to apprehend the perpetrators.
