Delhi Crime Branch Arrests Three Sharpshooters in Gang War Revenge Killing

In a major breakthrough, the Delhi Crime Branch has apprehended three sharpshooters involved in a violent gang war following a fierce encounter in Rohini. The accused, identified as Rehman (23), Adil (23), and a minor accomplice, were wanted in connection with the sensational Kamo Pehalwan murder at Shastri Park.

Investigation Reveals Gang Rivalry Motive

Police sources revealed that the murder of Kamo Pehalwan is part of an ongoing bloody feud between two notorious gangs in Delhi. On the night of December 30-31, 2025, gangster Wasim Hashmat was killed, a crime claimed by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Prior to this, there had been two earlier attempts on Hashmat’s life, including one incident at GTB Hospital where a misidentified patient was tragically killed. Acting on orders from jailed gang leader Sonu Bengali, the arrested sharpshooters opened intense gunfire on January 24, 2026, at Shastri Park, resulting in Kamo Pehalwan’s death.

Encounter and Arrest

Under the supervision of Inspectors Man Singh and Sundar Gautam, officers SI Manish, Vijendra Divach, Sudhir, Virendra, ASI Ajay, Amit, Vikas, Head Constables Gaurav, Rohit, Ramjas, Sanjeev Yadav, Jitendra, Vipin, and Constable Robin received a tip-off about the suspects near Rohini Sector-28.

At around 11:45 PM on January 27, when police signaled a white scooter to stop, the suspects opened fire instead of surrendering. In self-defense, officers SI Virendra, Head Constable Rohit, Ramjas, and Constable Robin fired at the suspects’ legs, eventually cornering and arresting all three.

During the search, police discovered that the scooter used by the accused was stolen from the Bindapur area. One bullet struck SI Virendra’s chest, but his bulletproof vest saved his life.

Next Steps

Delhi Police are currently interrogating the suspects to uncover other gang members and trace the supply of weapons fueling the ongoing gang war.
