Hapur: Following the arrest of Dr. Farooq Ahmad Dar, Assistant Professor in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at GS Medical College, Pilkhuwa, investigative agencies have widened their probe to include other doctors associated with him, particularly some Kashmiri doctors. Sources confirmed that these doctors have been questioned, and the activities of other staff members are also under scrutiny. Several individuals’ call records are being examined as part of the ongoing investigation.
Dr. Farooq, linked to the Delhi blast case and associated with Al-Falah University in Faridabad, came under police radar due to his connections with the arrested terrorist. During initial inquiries, another doctor was questioned and subsequently released. However, sources indicate that some of the released doctors and others have not yet received a full clearance from authorities.
Investigation Focuses on Contacts and Activities
Authorities are closely analyzing who visited these doctors and tracking their interactions. Security agencies suspect potential links to the Delhi car blast and are pursuing all leads.
College Administration Prepares Action
The college administration is reportedly in a dilemma. Since Dr. Dar has not returned to the campus even after 24 hours, disciplinary action is now being considered. A forensic team’s visit on Friday caused a stir in the college, as the team also interrogated a blast victim from the Pilkhuwa incident. College spokesperson Manoj Sisaudiya asserted that no wrongdoing occurs at the institution and that they are fully cooperating with the investigation.
