Delhi Blast Probe: Noida Addresses of Kashmiri Youth Working in Security Firms Found Fake, Funding Link Suspected

Noida:
After the explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station, investigative agencies have intensified scrutiny of Islamic radical networks operating in the NCR. As the probe deepens, several security agencies run by individuals of Kashmiri origin have come under the scanner. The Income Tax Department is conducting detailed inquiries into their operations.

According to sources, security agencies have uncovered substantial evidence that large amounts of cash were withdrawn by employees of these firms and routed to radical organisations. The profiles of such individuals are now being thoroughly examined.

Fake Noida Addresses Exposed

A startling revelation has emerged during the verification process — many Kashmiri youths working in these security companies had submitted fake residential addresses in Noida. As these details turned out to be false, officials have expanded the investigation to identify their real addresses across several western UP districts, including Meerut, Bareilly, and Agra.

Three-Year-Old Report Surfaces Again

This development has revived a three-year-old Income Tax investigation report. The earlier probe had revealed that numerous meat companies in western Uttar Pradesh had hired security agencies run by persons of Kashmiri origin. The report had raised concerns about potential funding channels to Islamic extremist organisations.

During raids on major meat-exporting firms — including Rehbar Foods, Rustam Foods, and Maria Frozen — officials discovered that company operators had withdrawn nearly ₹1,200 crore from bank accounts. The pattern of withdrawals was flagged as suspicious.

Agencies Linked to Poonch and Rajouri

Investigators have now found that many of the security agencies hired by these companies belonged to Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu & Kashmir. Several agencies had also provided addresses in Bareilly, Meerut, Mumbai, Noida, Delhi, and Agra, but many of these details are now under question.

With the Delhi blast reigniting security concerns, the Income Tax Department has reopened its previous findings and restarted verification of the backgrounds and actual residences of the youths employed in these agencies.

Highly Sensitive Observations

In its earlier assessment, the Income Tax Department had clearly stated that the presence of youths from a sensitive region like Kashmir, working in high-cash-flow meat companies in UP and withdrawing large sums of money, placed the activity under a high suspicion category.

The report had also suggested a possible link between these operations and anti-national activities, prompting agencies to revisit all evidence with renewed urgency after the latest Delhi blast.
