Delhi Blast Case: Red Car Used by Terrorist Umar Nabee Linked to Lab Attendant Bashid

Faridabad – 18 November 2025: In a major development in the Delhi blast case, authorities have revealed that a young man named Bashid had parked the red Ford EcoSport used by the slain suspected terrorist Dr. Umar Nabee at his sister’s house in Khandawali village. Bashid, a resident of Dhauj village, is employed as a lab attendant at Al-Falah Hospital. Investigations indicate that he was a trusted aide of Umar and co-accused Dr. Mujammil Shakil, often transporting items in Umar’s vehicle. Security agencies have had Bashid in custody since the night of 10 November.

Connection Through Medical Treatment
Bashid’s mother stated that her son regularly visited Al-Falah Hospital to get treatment for his father, Rashid, a retired RMP doctor who was paralyzed about 18 months ago. Bashid’s treatment at the hospital brought him into contact with Dr. Mujammil, who was treating his father, and subsequently with Dr. Umar Nabee. Umar then became involved in his father’s medical care.

Job at Al-Falah During Eid
Sources revealed that Bashid secured his position at Al-Falah Hospital around Eid this year (March–April), facilitated through acquaintances among the hospital staff. Bashid is a graduate and the youngest among ten siblings, with eight sisters already married. His elder brother, Faizal, is currently not employed. Authorities have confirmed that Bashid is now under investigation for his alleged involvement in terrorist activities.

This revelation adds another layer to the ongoing probe into the Delhi blast, highlighting the network of associates surrounding the accused terrorists and their operational logistics.
