Faridabad/New Delhi – 18 November 2025: A significant development has emerged in the ongoing Delhi blast case. Co-accused Dr. Shahin Saeed and Dr. Muzammil Shakeel were found to have purchased a new Maruti Suzuki Brezza—the very vehicle intended to transport explosives or deliver a bomb during the planned attacks. The car was purchased on 25 September 2025, with payment made in cash, according to sources close to the investigation.
Silver Brezza Captured on Camera
CCTV and other investigative sources revealed images of Shahin and Muzammil buying a silver-colored Brezza. Both individuals are affiliated with Al-Falah University, Faridabad, and have now been arrested. Investigators disclosed that a total of 32 vehicles were being prepared for the serial “badla” attacks, targeting multiple locations, including Delhi. Six of these attacks were scheduled for 6 December, a date historically significant due to the 1992 demolition of the disputed structure.
Car Traced to University Campus
Among the 32 vehicles, some have already been recovered, including this Brezza. The car, registered in Haryana with the number HR 87U 9988, was found on the campus of Al-Falah School of Medical Sciences and Research Center, Faridabad. Investigators have identified the university as a key location in the case. Earlier seizures include a Maruti Swift Desire containing an assault rifle and ammunition, and a red Ford EcoSport (DL10 CK 0458) found abandoned in Faridabad.
Blast Killed 15 at Red Fort
The deadly blast near the Red Fort claimed 15 lives and injured several others. The suicide attack was carried out by Umar Un Nabi in his i20 car, another doctor linked to Al-Falah University from Kashmir. Reports indicate that Umar initially planned the bombing in a crowded Red Fort parking area, a popular spot for tourists. The plot unraveled after the arrests of his accomplices, Shahin and Muzammil, connected to a larger white-collar terrorist module, causing Umar to panic.
