“Dabang” Bride Creates High-Voltage Drama in Chhatarpur, Assaults In-Laws and Seizes Dowry Bike

A shocking incident has emerged from Chhatarpur where a woman, accompanied by her father and friends, allegedly visited her in-laws’ house and assaulted her mother-in-law and father-in-law. The drama escalated when she reportedly tried to take away a motorcycle given to her as dowry by tying it to another bike.

Short-Lived Marriage Turns Sour
The woman, identified as Roshni Kushwaha, married Lakshman Kushwaha on March 4, 2024. The marital relationship reportedly lasted only about ten months. According to reports, a dispute with her in-laws occurred on December 27, 2024, following which Roshni allegedly returned to her parental home with her father, Kishanlal Kushwaha.

Seizing the Dowry Bike
Nearly ten months later, on January 2, 2026, Roshni returned to her in-laws’ residence on a motorcycle with her father and several others. During the visit, she reportedly assaulted her in-laws. The group brought along a second bike, and the dowry motorcycle was tied to this vehicle using a rope and taken away from the in-laws’ premises.

Husband Reports Threat to Life
The victim, Lakshman Kushwaha, lodged a complaint at the Civil Line Police Station, claiming that both his wife and her family posed a threat to his life. He stated that he wished to continue living with his wife, but persistent interference from the in-laws had strained the marital relationship. The police have confirmed that an investigation into the matter is underway.

This incident has sent shockwaves through Chhatarpur, highlighting the extreme measures sometimes taken in family disputes and dowry-related conflicts.
