Jaipur:
Winter has tightened its hold over Rajasthan as icy winds sweeping down from the northern hills cause a sharp dip in temperatures across several divisions, including Bikaner, Jaipur, and Bharatpur. According to the Meteorological Department, seven districts are likely to receive rain today and tomorrow, owing to the impact of a western disturbance.
On Wednesday, Fatehpur emerged as the coldest region in the state, recording a minimum temperature of 2.9°C, while 12 cities witnessed temperatures falling below 10°C during the night.
Temperature Drops Across Multiple Divisions
Rajasthan is swiftly transitioning into a deep winter phase. The influx of cold north winds has brought night temperatures down significantly. Fatehpur, in particular, saw its minimum temperature slide below 3°C. Several cities across Bikaner, Jaipur, and Bharatpur divisions experienced a notable chill.
The weather department has predicted cloud cover and light rainfall in Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Ajmer divisions today due to western disturbance activity. On November 28, light showers are expected in parts of Ajmer and Jaipur divisions, though most regions of the state will remain mainly dry over the coming days.

On Wednesday, not a single city in Rajasthan recorded a maximum temperature above 30°C, reflecting the growing impact of winter.
Rainfall Expected in Several Districts
Due to the ongoing western disturbance, the weather is expected to remain unstable today, 27 November, in Jalore, Sirohi, Pali, Udaipur, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, and Ajmer districts, with possibilities of light rain or drizzle.
