
Noida/Ghaziabad, February 24, 2026: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ongoing visit to Singapore has resulted in significant investment commitments for the state, totaling ₹6,650 crore through three major MOUs. The agreements focus on infrastructure, healthcare, and digital development across Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad.
₹3,500 Crore Township Near Noida International Airport
An international-themed integrated township will be developed on 100 acres near Noida International Airport at an estimated cost of ₹3,500 crore. Scheduled for launch in 2027, the project is expected to generate employment for over 12,000 people and provide a modern urban identity to the rapidly growing airport region.
₹2,500 Crore Hyperscale Data Center Park
A hyperscale data center park will be set up on 10 acres in Noida-Greater Noida, with a total IT power capacity of 40 MW. The ₹2,500 crore project is anticipated to create jobs for approximately 1,500 people and strengthen the state’s digital infrastructure under the new data center policy.
₹500 Crore Healthcare Investment in Ghaziabad
During a meeting with Temasek Holdings, it was confirmed that its portfolio company, Manipal Hospitals, will invest around ₹500 crore in Ghaziabad. This investment aims to expand super-specialty healthcare facilities and create new local employment opportunities.
Public Transport Expansion
To improve urban mobility, the state government plans to operate 100 roadways buses across Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna Authority areas. Initially, 50 buses will be leased, with a full deployment expected within 8–10 months. The service will be operated under a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) model, similar to initiatives in Gorakhpur and 14 other districts.
Metro Connectivity Boost
The revised Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the 7.5 km metro extension from Sector-51 to Sector-4 in Greater Noida West, featuring four new metro stations, has been submitted to the central government. Approval is targeted by March 31, 2026, after which the foundation-laying process will begin.
Noida International Airport Set to Open in March
Preparations for the Noida International Airport inauguration are in the final stages. The Chief Minister has invited the Prime Minister for the opening ceremony, which is expected in March. Authorities have resolved all security-related issues, and operational readiness is complete.
These developments mark a significant milestone for Uttar Pradesh’s industrial, digital, and urban growth, reflecting the impact of CM Yogi’s international engagements.
