CM Vishnu Dev Sai Serves Food to Security Forces, Appreciates Their Courage in Bastar

Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai personally met with security personnel in Narayanpur district, expressing his appreciation for their bravery and contribution to Bastar’s peace and development. During his visit to the ITBP Battalion complex, the CM interacted with officers and jawans from ITBP, CRPF, COBRA Battalion, BSF, DRG, and CAF.

Serving Dinner to the Jawans
In a rare gesture, CM Sai joined the jawans for dinner inside the battalion complex and personally served them food. While interacting with the personnel, he acknowledged the challenges faced in Bastar, where many areas rich in natural resources and cultural heritage were left isolated from mainstream development due to Maoist insurgency.

He praised the courage, valor, and dedication of the security forces, noting that their efforts have created an environment of peace and security, enabling development work to progress.

Dialogue with the Jawans
Security personnel shared their experiences with the CM, highlighting the difficulties of serving in challenging conditions. CM Sai assured them that the state government remains committed to their welfare and providing necessary facilities.

Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap added that, thanks to the relentless efforts of the central and state security forces, the region is witnessing a visible transformation: the sounds of bullets and explosives have been replaced by the bustle of daily life, school activities, and traditional drumming in villages.

Accelerated Anti-Naxal Operations
Security camps have been established in Bastar to control Naxal activities, with central and state forces deployed across the region. The jawans continue to carry out major operations as part of ongoing anti-Naxal campaigns in Chhattisgarh, reinforcing safety and stability in previously conflict-affected areas.
