Class 6 Girl Goes Missing from School Gate in Mahoba, Found Safe in Bageshwardham

Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh: In a mysterious incident, a Class 6 student went missing from her private school gate in Mahoba, triggering panic among her family. Her father alleged that a young man in a car and a teenage girl were involved in her abduction. Fortunately, the girl was later located in Bageshwardham, Madhya Pradesh, where she contacted her family and explained the situation.

Sequence of Events

The 11-year-old girl, a resident of Muhal, left home for school on Wednesday morning around 8 AM. She vanished mysteriously from the school gate. According to her father, the alleged abductors first took her in a car, and then placed her in a bus bound for Chhatarpur, along with the teenage girl. The car followed the bus until it reached Chhatarpur bus stand.

At Chhatarpur, the abductors reportedly gave the girl ₹70 and instructed her to take an auto rickshaw to Bageshwardham, after which they fled the scene. Once in Bageshwardham, the girl called her father from a shop to explain the events. She was subsequently safely brought back to Mahoba.

Police Response

Deputy Superintendent of Police Vandana Singh confirmed that a formal report has been lodged due to the involvement of a minor. Investigation teams have been formed to probe the case. CCTV footage shows the girl leaving the school gate alone, and preliminary findings suggest that she may have revisited Bageshwardham on her own, possibly motivated by fear or curiosity.

The police are conducting a thorough investigation to verify all aspects of the incident.
