Civil Services Aspirant Found Murdered in Etawah, Body Dumped on Railway Track

Etawah, Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking incident, the body of a young civil services aspirant was found bound in a sack on the DFC railway track in Etawah. Police have taken the body into custody and launched a manhunt for the killers.

Victim Details

The deceased has been identified as Manish Kumar (23), son of Rajveer Singh, a resident of Bandhara village, Bharathna police station area. Manish was preparing for civil services exams and used to travel 20 km daily from his village to attend coaching classes in Etawah.

According to family members, Manish left for coaching on Wednesday but never reached the center nor returned home. Despite searching from the village to Etawah, no trace of him was found. It is believed that he was kidnapped, murdered, and his body dumped in a sack on the railway track by unknown assailants. A missing person report had been lodged by his family.

Discovery of the Body

On Friday, the third day after his disappearance, locals spotted a sack containing a mutilated body near Chittabavan Nawali village along the DFC railway track in the Ikdil area. City Police CO Abhay Narayan along with officers reached the site and confirmed the body belonged to Manish Kumar. The body was sent for post-mortem examination, and forensic teams were deployed at the scene.

Police Investigation

CO Abhay Narayan stated that the investigation is ongoing and all leads are being pursued. The exact circumstances of Manish’s death will be clarified after the post-mortem report. Authorities have assured that those responsible will be brought to justice soon.
