
Churu, Rajasthan: A serious road accident occurred on National Highway-11 in Rajladesar, Churu district, on Sunday evening, when a pedestrian standing on the road divider was hit by a car that lost control after colliding with a dumper. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, clearly showing the chain of events.
Accident Details
The victim, identified as 42-year-old Jitendra from Binadesar village, had just gotten off a bus and was standing on the divider to cross the road. At the same time, a speeding dumper and a car were passing through the highway. In an attempt to overtake the stationary car ahead, the moving car collided with the dumper. The impact caused the car to lose control and mount the divider, striking Jitendra with full force.
The collision was so strong that Jitendra was thrown approximately 4–5 feet into the air and landed nearly 15 meters away in the opposite lane. The out-of-control car then crossed the divider and sped away, while the dumper continued on its lane.
Injuries and Hospitalization
Bystanders immediately rushed the injured Jitendra to Jalan Hospital in Ratangarh. Doctors confirmed that he sustained serious injuries but his condition is currently stable and showing gradual improvement under medical supervision.
