Chomu, Jaipur: In a remarkable administrative achievement, the Chomu Assembly constituency in Jaipur district completed the Special Summary Revision (SSR) of voter lists four days ahead of schedule. To celebrate the milestone, Chomu SDM Dilip Singh Rathore hosted a dinner party for all Booth Level Officers (BLOs), joining them on the dance floor to the tune of the popular song “Mane Peeni Chhod Di”. The video of the SDM dancing with the BLOs has gone viral on social media.
Administrative Efficiency Recognized
The voter list revision, part of ongoing exercises across 12 states, was originally scheduled to conclude by 4 December, later extended to 11 December. Chomu’s SSR work was completed 100% ahead of the deadline, marking it as the first constituency in Jaipur district to achieve full completion.
SDM Rathore lauded the efforts, calling it an example of administrative excellence and teamwork. “Updating and digitizing the voter list ahead of schedule is a significant achievement,” he said. “This was possible only because of the dedication of the BLOs and officials working together as a team.”
BLOs’ Efforts Praised
Rathore highlighted the on-ground efforts of BLOs, who visited every household to distribute forms, collect necessary information, and update voter records accurately. “Because of their hard work, there will be no discrepancies in the voter list for the upcoming elections,” he added.
During the celebration, a DJ played film and Rajasthani songs, and the SDM joined the BLOs in energetic dance performances, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and motivation.

The dance celebration has attracted significant attention online, becoming a talking point for both citizens and political observers. Many have praised the initiative as an innovative way to acknowledge hard work while maintaining a personal connection with field officials.
