Chilling Video from Rampur: Hay-Laden Truck Topples onto Bolero, Driver Killed

Rampur: A spine-chilling road accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur district has once again highlighted the deadly consequences of sudden braking and heavy vehicle movement on busy roads. A shocking video of the incident, now widely circulating on social media, shows a hay-laden truck overturning onto a Bolero SUV, killing its driver on the spot.

The incident took place on Sunday near Pahadi Gate in the Ganj police station area. According to preliminary information, a truck loaded with straw was moving along the road when a Bolero vehicle bearing “Uttar Pradesh Government” markings attempted to take a turn. The Bolero driver reportedly applied sudden brakes, prompting the truck driver—who was following close behind—to swerve sharply in an attempt to avoid a collision.

However, the truck rammed into the road divider, lost balance, and overturned directly onto the Bolero. The impact was so severe that the Bolero was crushed under the weight of the truck, leading to the instant death of its driver.

Police and Rescue Teams Rush to Spot

Upon receiving information, police officials reached the scene along with rescue teams. Using cranes and JCB machines, authorities lifted the overturned truck and pulled out the trapped driver from beneath the wreckage. The victim was declared dead, and the body was sent for post-mortem examination.

Police officials said the identity of the deceased driver has not yet been confirmed. A mobile phone recovered from the site is being used to contact the victim’s family members.
