Shivhar/Sitamadhi, Bihar: During Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s ongoing ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ in Bihar, political and developmental activity intensified in Sitamadhi and Shivhar. On this tour, Shivhar MP Lovely Anand addressed the CM with the phrase “Adhyaksh Mahoday” (Chairman Sir), drawing attention as she presented a detailed set of demands for regional development.
Anand urged that the ‘Sainik Path’ connecting Majorganj to Minapur be upgraded to State Highway status, emphasizing the need for widening and beautification to ensure smoother traffic flow.
Highlighting infrastructure needs, she also requested the construction of new bridges along the Bagmati riverbanks at Pachnaur and Narora to ease difficulties faced by local residents in crossing the river.
Focusing on administrative facilities, Anand pointed out that although Belsar has been designated a sub-division, it lacks a guesthouse, and she called for the construction of a rest house. Additionally, she recommended establishing a jail and court in the region to strengthen law and order and expedite judicial processes.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, after inaugurating several schemes and laying foundation stones, addressed the gathering, underscoring the government’s commitment to regional development and welfare.
