Maharajganj: A 20-second video circulating widely on social media has triggered intense चर्चा और राजनीतिक हलचल in Uttar Pradesh’s Maharajganj district. The video shows a man sitting inside a room where several bundles of ₹500 currency notes are seen spread across the floor, raising serious सवाल about the source and purpose of the cash.
Social media users are claiming that the man seen in the video is Gautam Tiwari, allegedly associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said to hold the post of district minister. However, no confirmation has been received so far from any competent authority or official party source regarding his identity or political position.
Contradictory Explanations Add to Mystery
When contacted by the media, the person seen in the viral clip reportedly gave अलग-अलग और विरोधाभासी explanations about the cash. At times, he claimed that the money was related to a धार्मिक अनुष्ठान (religious ritual), झाड़-फूंक (faith healing), or ताबीज (amulet) activities. On other occasions, he said the cash was connected to a land deal and the return of money he had previously given to someone.
None of these claims, however, could be independently verified. The shifting versions have only deepened the mystery and fueled further speculation on social media and in राजनीतिक गलियारों.

It is also unclear where the video was recorded—whether inside a private residence or at some other location. No official information has been released regarding the date, time, or उद्देश्य behind the recording of the video.
