Kota, Rajasthan: In a strong show of authority, Kota police have launched a bulldozer operation against a notorious criminal, Adil Mirza, also known as “25 Paise,” a wanted history-sheeter from Sangod police station jurisdiction. Mirza, who allegedly opened fire on police on January 9 and January 11, now faces demolition of his two illegal houses.
According to police reports, on both occasions, Mirza, along with his accomplices, fired multiple rounds at police—four rounds in Sangod and five in Modak—while attempting to evade arrest.
Police Action and Arrest:
Finally, on January 11, police retaliated, shooting Mirza in both legs and successfully apprehending him along with three accomplices. Several weapons were recovered during the operation.
Demolition of Illegal Houses:
Following his arrest, authorities have initiated the process to demolish Mirza’s two illegal properties. A notice has already been issued for one house through the local Tehsildar, while proceedings for the second house are underway. Once the prescribed timeline lapses, both houses will be razed to the ground as part of government action against criminal encroachments.
Adil Mirza faces approximately 33 serious cases registered across Sangod, Nayapura, and Bhimganjmandi police stations, including attempted murder, robbery, and violations under the Arms Act.
The police action sends a strong message that law enforcement will not tolerate criminal activities and illegal encroachments, reaffirming the state’s commitment to maintaining law and order.
