Bulldozer Action Against Karauli Riot Accused Aminuddin Khan’s Illegal Construction

In a major administrative action following the violence during the Hindu New Year (Nav Samvatsar) bike rally in Karauli, Rajasthan, authorities have demolished the illegal construction of prime accused Aminuddin Khan. The move came shortly after Khan’s गिरफ्तारी (arrest) in connection with the stone-pelting and riot case linked to the rally.

Strict Message from Administration
Police and district officials adopted a tough stance, stating that the demolition was aimed at maintaining law and order and sending a strong message against illegal encroachments. The action was carried out at Khan’s building located in the Ambedkar Circle area of Karauli city. Aminuddin Khan is reportedly the son of a former chairman of the municipal council.

Security Tightened During Demolition
Given the sensitivity of the case, heavy security arrangements were made. The surrounding area was placed under high alert, a nearby school was declared closed as a precaution, and shops and buildings in the vicinity were temporarily evacuated.

Irregularities Found in Construction
An investigation by the Karauli Municipal Council revealed serious irregularities in the building’s construction. Following the probe, the land allotment (patta) and construction approval were formally cancelled. After the cancellation, the administration initiated legal proceedings to remove the illegal structure, culminating in the bulldozer action.

City Turned Into Police Camp
To prevent any untoward incident, Karauli was virtually turned into a police camp. Several major routes, including Mela Gate and Shikarganj, were temporarily closed. Around 500 police personnel were deployed at key intersections, markets, and sensitive zones.

Senior officials, including Additional District Collector Hemraj Paridwal, Additional Superintendent of Police Gumna Ram, Sub-Divisional Officer Premraj Meena, and Deputy Superintendent of Police Anuj Shubham, were present on the spot to supervise the entire operation.
