A video of the incident shared on social media has drawn widespread appreciation for the guard’s exemplary conduct.
Incident Details
The incident occurred late Monday night when a car passed through the toll plaza and the owner’s bag accidentally fell off the vehicle. The toll plaza security guard, Vishal, noticed the bag and, upon opening it, discovered the cash and essential documents. He immediately informed the toll plaza manager.
CCTV Footage Helps Trace Owner
Working together, Vishal and the toll manager reviewed hours of CCTV footage to identify the car and retrieve the owner’s contact details. They called the car owner and informed them about the lost bag. Upon receiving the news, the owner promptly arrived at the toll plaza.
Bag Returned, Praise All Around
The bag, along with the ₹27,950 and documents, was handed back to the car owner. Vishal stated that he found the bag during his duty and immediately reported it. Both the toll plaza manager and car owner praised Vishal for his honesty, making him a role model for integrity in the community.
