The bride’s sudden disappearance created panic among her relatives, and the groom’s family was equally taken aback. Both sides approached the Sumerpur Police Chowki on Friday, lodging allegations against each other. However, after the return of dowry-related exchanges, both families reached an amicable settlement, and the groom left the police station disappointed.

The wedding was planned in a village under Sumerpur police jurisdiction, with the baraat scheduled to arrive on Thursday.
