Bride Gives Birth Within Six Hours of Wedding in Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur, Village Left Stunned

A surprising incident from Rampur district in Uttar Pradesh has left an entire village stunned after a newly married bride gave birth to a baby girl within just six hours of her wedding.

The incident took place in a village under the Azimnagar police station area, where a young couple, reportedly in a long-standing relationship, got married with the consent of both families on Saturday. Following the wedding ceremony, the bride arrived at her in-laws’ home late in the evening.

According to family members, around midnight, the bride began experiencing severe abdominal pain. Initially, the family assumed the discomfort was due to exhaustion after the wedding rituals. However, as her condition worsened, a female doctor was called to the house.

After examination, the doctor informed the family that the bride was in labour. By early Sunday morning, she safely delivered a healthy baby girl at home. The sound of the newborn’s cries echoed through the village, leaving residents astonished as the news spread rapidly.

Despite the unexpected turn of events, sources said the groom and both families accepted the situation calmly, and there was no immediate dispute reported.

The Azimnagar police stated that no complaint has been received from either side in connection with the incident. “Since no formal complaint has been lodged, the police are only keeping a watch on the situation,” an official said.

The incident has become the subject of widespread discussion in the village, drawing attention for its unusual timing but ending on a note of relief with the safe delivery of the child.
