Bomb Threats Target Prominent Schools in Gurugram and Chandigarh, Panic Ensues

Gurugram/Chandigarh: Panic spread in Gurugram and Chandigarh when several reputed schools received bomb threats via email. Following the warnings, security agencies immediately went on high alert.

According to police reports, threatening emails were sent to official school IDs, claiming that explosives had been planted on school premises. The schools that received these threats include:

  • Kunskaplan School, DLF Phase-1, Gurugram
  • Lancers School, Sector-53, Gurugram
  • Heritage Experiential Learning School, Sector-64, Gurugram
  • Pathways World School, Badshahpur, Gurugram

Upon receiving the information, local police teams promptly reached the schools, evacuated students and staff, and initiated thorough search operations. Bomb disposal squads have been deployed as a precautionary measure, and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has also been called in to assist in relief and rescue operations. Intensive inspections are currently underway at all affected schools.

Police officials have assured the public that the situation is under control and have appealed to parents to remain calm. Meanwhile, the threatening emails are being investigated by cybercrime teams to trace their origin.
