Bomb Threat Targets Shiv Nadar School in Noida, Students Sent Home

Noida, Uttar Pradesh: Shiv Nadar School in Noida’s Sector-168 received a bomb threat via email on Friday, prompting immediate action by school authorities and local police. Students were safely sent home as a precautionary measure.

Following the threat, the police, bomb disposal squad, and cybercrime teams were deployed to the school. Senior officers personally oversaw the ongoing security and inspection measures. Authorities have assured parents that safety remains the top priority and have urged them to remain calm and cooperative.

Principal’s Statement

Principal Anju Soni confirmed that the threat was promptly reported to the police and administrative authorities, and an investigation is underway. She said the decision to temporarily close the school was made to ensure student safety. Parents received a mobile alert informing them about the bomb threat and instructing them to collect their children from designated drop-off points. The school buses were also returned to the respective locations, with real-time coordination available through bus staff.

Past Incidents

Shiv Nadar School has faced similar bomb threats in the past, though previous investigations did not uncover any explosives. Given the proximity to Republic Day, both the school management and police have taken this latest threat very seriously. Security measures remain heightened, and thorough searches are being conducted across the campus.
